The problem
Hosting an online league is difficult and time-consuming
OOTP’s Online League mode has no API. The commissioner uploads the league file to a file transfer protocol (FTP) server, general managers download it, play their week, and export their team back to the same server. That’s the entire loop, and it only works if someone stands up an FTP server with exactly the right folders and hands out two sets of credentials.
